Registration & Cancellation Policies and Procedures for Classes/Camps/Workshops
Cancellations and Refunds
Please register in advance for all classes, camps and workshops. By registering for a class, camp, or workshop you agree to Sew on Central’s registration, cancellation and makeup policies as outlined below.
Classes and workshops with less than 50% enrollment 72 hours prior to the first class may be cancelled; you will be notified, and a full refund or class credit will be offered. In the event that Sew On Central must cancel a class, workshop, or camp program for any reason, you will be offered a full refund or transfer credit.
Read below for adult and youth class/workshop/camps cancellation details. Please note that there may be a delay in processing refunds through our registration system. Please allow 7-14 days for your refund.
If you need to cancel a class or workshop, please notify Sew on Central 48 hours prior. Beginning with Spring 2023, all classes and workshops will be subject to a 10% restocking fee for any cancellations. The full credit (no fee applied) can also be transferred to another session/date instead.
Effective Spring 2023, all youth classes and workshops will be subject to a 10% restocking fee for all cancellations. If you need to cancel your child's enrollment more than 72 hours from the start time of an after school/weekend class or workshop, you will be refunded in full minus the restocking fee. The full credit (no fee applied) can also be transferred to another session/date instead.
Classes/workshops cannot be refunded or transferred with less than 72 hours notice or after the session has begun.
Since all our classes are full, we are not able to offer makeup classes at this time.
Beginning in 2023, all youth camps will be subject to a 10% restocking fee for any cancellations. If you need to cancel your child's enrollment more than one week from the start of the camp, you will be refunded in full minus the restocking fee. The full credit (no fee applied) can also be transferred to another session/date instead.
Camps cannot be refunded or transferred with less than one week notice or after the session has begun. A student withdrawn within a week of the start time of the program, or after the start of the program, will not be issued a full/partial refund nor transfer.
Sew On Central reserves the right to change these policies at any time or based on individual circumstance.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding our cancellation policies, please email admin@sewoncentral.com before registering.
Lost or Left Items
Sew On Central is not responsible for personal items left behind in the studio. If you or your child left a sewing project, please contact us as soon as possible.
Behavioral Dismissal
If a child is behaving in a manner that threatens their safety or the safety of other students, or impedes our teachers ability to instruct and care for the rest of the group, Sew On Central reserves the right to call the guardian and dismiss that child from class. If the same behavioral issue occurs twice, we reserve the right to terminate that child's registration for the remainder of the session or season.
Health & Safety
If you or your child is feverish or sick with any illness, please let us know and do not attend/send them to class/camp. Children displaying or reporting any symptoms associated with COVID-19 may be sent home in accordance with guidelines, and may not return to class until a 5 day quarantine period has passed or a negative COVID-19 test result. Absences due to illness will not receive a refund.
