This foot is ideal for patch working with exact seam allowances of 1/4 and 1/8 inch. The fabric edges can either be guided along the foot or the seam guide. This makes accurate sewing absolutely simple.

For seams with a seam depth of 1/4 inch: guide fabric along the black guide plate to obtain the precise seam depth. The patchwork foot that has an additional hole to the left of the central
needle hole allows seams with a depth of 1/8 inch to be sewn. For this, move the needle position all the way to the left and guide the fabric along the left inside edge of the presser foot.

Applications:
For patchwork projects with accurate seam allowances of 1/4 or 1/8 inch.
