Fabrics that are difficult to work with are best sewn with the Walking Foot. It supports the fabric feed with a second feed dog on the top of the foot. The sewing project is moved in synchronization with the lower feed dog to ensure a smooth sewing process.

- Fabrics that tend to slip e.g. satin, velvet
- Quilting, stitch in the ditch quilting, grid quilting (using the optional seam guide)
