Youth Classes & Workshops

Sew on Central offers beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes for children 7 years and older, as well as a few early-dismissal classes for nearby schools, and a special hand-stitching course for our younger 5-6 year olds. Our small size classes explore the craft of sewing while helping your child discover the joy that comes from creating something handmade. Young sewists learn how to trace patterns, prep and cut fabric and sew a variety of seams on a sewing machine. We will complete several projects during a session. You will be amazed what your child can create with needle, machine, fabric and thread! Scroll down to find details and register today!

Returning student? Welcome back! Your child may do best in one level for more than one session as new skills are learned and reinforced. If you have any questions about what level your child should be in, please email Erica, our Youth Director, at Erica@sewoncentral.com.

Please note: If your child misses a class, we will do our best to catch them up in the next session. We do not offer make-up sessions for missed classes. All students must have a completed Liability Waiver on file every year. Please complete the form on our website via the link below, email the completed form for 2024 to ADMIN@SEWONCENTRAL.COM, or bring a printed copy to the first class.
